Too often pesticides are CLAIMED to be absolutely safe. Too often, also, we put our implicit faith in pesticide products. We need to be aware of how unsafe modern synthetic chemicals really are. Don't trust in advertising! Protect your family and research commonly used products online. Search for and find Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). They can help you determine the chemical composition of products and substances. Web sites like the Northwest Center for Alternatives to Pesticides (http://www.pesticide.org/) and Beyond Pesticides (http://beyondpesticides.org/) can point you in the right direction.
